Our Ministries

When bringing a team, you can be involved with one or more of our ministries, but we are also open to other ministries as well. We want to cater to the strengths of your team as you partner with us. We offer the following on a regular basis:

Major Ministries

Our major ministries are ongoing ministries that take place throughout the year, whether teams are in country or not. These are also considered major ministry because they also require the most financial support. We invite you visit each of the ministry pages for our major ministries to learn more.

Other Ministries

• Cell Group Ministry
  We work hard to plant small groups throughout the region for discipleship and to assist in developing new churches.
• Clothing Provision
  As supplies are available, we provide free clothing to those in need. This clothing is generally donated by teams as they come.
• Construction Ministry
  Working with US churches and teams to build churches, homes, and other projects as the need arises.
• Discipleship Training
  We provide resources, training, and help to ensure that new believers are being raised up in the truth of God’s Word.
• Door to Door Evangelism
  Something that is often seen as scary in the US is something that has produced a great harvest here in Honduras. Teams will participate in door to door evangelism, also taking with them a local church member to help to train them to reach their own neighbors with the gospel.
• Feeding Communities
  Much like our feeding program, we have teams who will provide a meal to an entire community. This opens the door for outreach.
• Marriage Seminars
  Marriage is often taken for granted as they were not biblically based. We do our part to offer marriage seminars to help build up the importance of marriage and how to honor God through our marriages.
• Medical / Dental Ministry
  We welcome teams of doctors, nurses, and dentists who want to assist in providing for the physical needs so we can provide for spiritual needs. We have organized clinics and other medical ministries over the years and hope to continue in the future.
• Pastor Training
  Seminary is not generally an option for pastors in Honduras and so we seek to provide resources and training for our pastors.
• Prison Ministry
  Just like in the US, one of the places of the most spiritual need are the local prisons. We have established a standing ministry with our local prisons to be able to share the gospel with the inmates
• Sports Outreach
  We seek to use the gifts of others as a resource to share the gospel. Sports are a way of doing this. We have had teams use their physical abilities to provide this avenue.
• VBS
  Children are a major focus for us as they are the next generation of leaders for the church and so we enjoy spending time pouring into them through “fiestas,” or VBS style ministry.
• Women’s Ministry
  Women in Honduras are in need of support. Many have been left to fend for themselves and there children. We seek to be a source of encouragement through our women’s ministries.
• Youth Events
  Youth of Honduras need an alternative to the hardship of the streets and we want to provide that alternative.
